    Grande Photo Update

Hey guys! There’s a big photo update today at photos.euicho.com.

I added some new bouldering, rapelling, and Evan pics in the Random Antics album.

My Portfolio has new photos from my trip to Portland this weekend with Amme and Becky, along with a couple old photos I’d forgotten to post.

I’m working on a Friends album as well…

and the Amme and I album has freshies too.

I’ll tell you about the trip later on this week, but it was loads of fun!

I really like them. I am especially fond of the one of the girls on old orchard the one from behind as they are walking. There is something beautifully captured there, but I can’t put my finger on it. Also its kinda funny you took a few shots like me that are up on my photo page which I have because you are cool.

    • euicho 12:31 pm on 3/2/2005 Permalink

yeah it was but it came out great!
yeah when I was taking the shot of the pier poles, something in my head was like “Doesn’t doody have one like this?” I really liked how the snow stuck to them so I had to get it. Its funny, we three rock verily.

    BEWARE of ART

    Megaptera strigigena

BEWARE of ART’s Jen Gagne creates insect sculptures that are more dangerous, and far more intimidating, than the real ones. Funny thing is, they’re cute in a deadly I’ll-mess-you-up-man! sorta way.

    Pet antics around the house

I thought I’d post some pet antics and two pictures of the first big snowfall in Acadia this winter.

The two ferrets are Baby and Kitty. They were both adopted from Central Aroostook Ferret Rescue, and yes, they are huge.

Riley is the dark cat and Connor is the orange one that loves to sleep in the ferrets litterboxes, wedge his large girth into all-too-small spaces, and will jump into any plastic bag he can fit his head into. Unfortunately this means he gets his head stuck in the handles quite often.

    I carved a gir pumpkin!

    GIR

To do this, I found a picture of gir online. Then I used this stencil tutorial from Stencil Revolution (which is a great site BTW), and cut out the black areas, then taped the stencil to my pumpkin, and cut away!

Once you’ve made your own stencil, or if you want so pre-made ones, go to this really good carving tutorial: pumpkincarving101.com tutorial

Some of the most unique ideas are at extremepumpkins.com. They were the inspiration for Zach and I’s pumpkin cannibal:
    pumpkin cannibal.

I also did a Frank the Rabbit pumpkin from Donnie Darko. Pumpkin carving is a ton of fun, from picking your pumpkins to the finished product, so go have yourself some fun!

Take it away while you still can!

Haven’t posted in a while. Got The Sims 2. I need not elaborate…
    Speaking of The Sims 2,
Rooster Teeth, the makers of one of my favorite online series’ of all time, Red vs. Blue, is making a new one that promises to be just as imaginative and hillarious, using the Sims 2 engine! Webfroot has a good rundown.

I’m heading down to Bangor tonight with Amme and Jalbey. Evan was supposed to go but hes being a ducktard and has to work. So do Zachy and B and Kelly. That sucks, but the main event is Doody is comming up from USA’s Germany (Albany, NY)!!! We’ll chill at our apartment, put them to work painting <evil cackle>Hahaha!</evil cackle> and probably catch a movie, hopefully play some Texas Hold-em, and generally just have a great time being with Matty for the first time in months and months. We all miss him a lot.

    Flash Quest Games

I just finished Samorost. That was way too fun. The driftwoody, photo-animatic landscape really draws you in and sets your imagination wondering and playing while you lead your character on. Its short but very entertaining, and beautifully done.
I think I’m going to play quest for the rest next. It looks at least as good, if not better, and features new music from The Polyphonic Spree, which is always neat.
They were both created by Amanita Design, who have made all kinds of other cool stuff on their site.

Quest For The Rest seemed shorter :(
      still fun though

Legion of Boom and Legion of Doom

I’m listening to The Crystal Method‘s new album, Legion Of Boom today. It sounds great, and there’s a track called “American Way” that features the amazing vocal tallents (though only a short clip) of Rahzel. If you’ve never heard of him, Rahzel is as talented as Police Academy’s Michael Winslow, times 1000. He can reproduce nearly any musical instrument sound, as well as record scratching and a plethora of other ones.
Oooh look, beautiful graphic novel styled desktop wallpaper.

BTW: My links page’s layout is complete, just have to keep adding sites now. I’m very happy with how it turned out. I have a much crisper, cleaner version of the banner image though, and when i get to work I’ll switch them.

Jin Wicked does intricate ink work that would make a great tatt.
I’ve talked about Kurt Halsey before, but lost the post to my old blogging service. He has emo art thats beautifully vivid.
